All summer (or winter) vlogs

by Kseniia

As you all maybe know seasons in the south hemisphere are shifted in comparison to what we are used to have in Europe. So December, January and February were summer months. That is still quite curiously. But now when March is here we are starting to summarise some summer points. And why not to do a digest of our vlogs? There are heaps of them on our Youtube channel and if you missed some episodes – this is the right time to have a look. And if you have only discovered our vlogs… Maybe you should ask your employer a day off and buy popcorn. You have a lot of good footage to watch.

We have done more than 40 vlogs from New Zealand so far. It is surprising even for us. With released dates scheduled on every Tuesday and Thursday, we learned to be super responsible and punctual. We are even going to bed at 10 pm now. No, this is a joke. It is impossible when you are living like we do.

EVENING KIWI WAY; FISH’N’CHIPS AT THE PARK /// VLOG #29

Fish’n’chips is probably the most popular food in New Zealand. You can grab your portion for lunch, dinner or even as a snack (huge snack!). The best thing about it is that it is always packed in a paper, so you can easily take it somewhere as an outdoor dinner. What we did one summer evening, when didn’t want to sit at home due to the nice weather. We bought fish.n.chips and went to the nearest park to observe local birds.

OUR FAVORITE GROCERY STORES IN TAURANGA /// VLOG #38

In this vlog, we’re going to show you the stores we normally do groceries at, as the food in New Zealand is obviously one of the most popular questions we get from our readers. We normally attend 3 stores: just a casual supermarket, healthy food store and delicatessen store where we have recently discovered a couple of traditional Russian products. All you need to know about the food in New Zealand is that it all is fresh and delicious and you can literally find anything you can imagine here, though some of the items might take time (for example, we have only found the cottage cheese like the one we got used to having back in Russia from the third attempt).

We wanted to find there the biggest waterslide in New Zealand, but unfortunately, it was already closed. A little bit disappointed we decided to go to The Rising Tide – our favourite dumpling restaurant.
