Dreams came true

04.06.2014 BY

Do you guys remember that wonderful and ambitious contest by Centro, I was jury in? You won't believe it, but we received around 1000 letters from all over the country! 1000 girls and women, who made their dreams come true! Strong, stylish, one and only - they all inspired me, each - in her own way. There also were very tough stories - about child's deseases, husbands-monsters and poverty. But you overcame everything! Concentrated and acted! And won! God, what an energetics in each story! Thank you, dears.

We had a special theStyleJungle prize in this contest - photset for the girl, whose story will reflect to me in a special way. And it was Jenya - a girl who moved to Moscow from another city and found herself and her success in a business no one expected from her. As you know my family also moved to Moscow. From Tashkent.:) And my all life I faced disbelief in me from people around (except for my parents - they always believed in me and supported me): school teachers didn't believe I can make it into MSU, MSU teachers didn't believe glossy magazines were worth working... They even asked me at my diplome exam "Is it true that glossies are for stupid people?". And then was Cosmo leaving - but this part of story you already know:) But I never ever regreted about any of my choices and my way in live, so I was really happy to meet a girl, who also wasn't affraid of difficulties and public opinion, made her life as she wanted it to be and now is absolutely happy.

So be ready to see Jenya's photoshoot in blog soon!

And the main winner, going with us to Milan for a meeting with designer Guiseppe Zanotti responsible for Vicini for Centro collection, becomes kind, attentive and possitive Olga, who adopted wonderful girl Sashen'ka.

All the stories chosen by the jury you can read on a special contest web-site, and I wan to mention one more story, that I will remember forever. It is from Christina. Christina was always dreaming about life changes and was in love with castles and fairy stories since childhood. And when she grew up she moved to Kaliningrad from Far East. And now lives between all the picturesque castles and churches. Isn't it a miracle? is there anyone here still not believing in princesses?:)
