Built in the late XIX century, Forgotten World Highway is the oldest heritage trail and one of the most scenic roads in New Zealand. This beautiful, remote and desolated route boasts incredible views, historical artefacts, colourful birds and friendly animals and is overall an amazing adventure for any nature lover.
There is something incredibly thrilling in watching gallons of water showering from the height. It’s an empowering and mesmerising show, the best demonstration of nature’s powers and thank God, there is no shortage in waterfalls in New Zealand.
At some stage I was ready to admit we’re some sort of travel losers. Imagine having a tour cancelled TWICE due to the weather conditions… Doesn’t sound too bad?
