  • I wonder, if an autumn more colorful and breathtakingly beautiful, than the one I saw in palaces nearby Saint-Peterburg last week, ever existed? Seeing all these made me suddwnly deeply connected to all the poems about Russian nature. I realized, that I have never yet felt and understood them so well. Could I ever imagined, that an autumnlike this would happen to me in my 25 for the first time in life? I was always quite sceptical about the phrase “He or she was inspired by 70-es/a sunset in Greece/playing cats”,but niw I can trully imagine how something makes you inspired and impossibly creative!

Hope, my photos will bring you at least a little of all those emotions I have!

  • – How cute! You-ve recently got married? – asked a friendly girl at a reception in Solo Sokos Vasilievsky, while comparing different surnames in my pass and driving license.

    – Well, actually, it will be a year already on 16th, the day, I’m leaving you. Just didn’t have time for all my docs yet…

That was exactly the dialog I had while cheking into a hotel in Saint Petersburg last week. After spending two days there, I was going to my last breakfast.

  • The best morning is when a golden sun, that brightens up beautiful red roofs, can be seen from your hotel room window. And that is exactly wha you get while staying in 5 stars Augustine just next to the Valdshtein garden and Karlov Bridge. And by the way, an amazing location is not even the greatest advantage of this place. And what is? Of course, it’s breathtaking history, dated back at XIII century!

  • Seems like all those dressing up’s are becoming a big part of my blog: romantic style of “Downton Abbey” in Czech to begin with and a traditional Oktoberfest fun in Munich afterwards… Could I ever imagine, that I would love it so much? But anyway, it was just impossible to skip dressing in a wonderful gown while enjoying Millennium Park (Novorijskoe avenue, 19 km) fall celebration. Do you agree?

  • What a miraculous sky is there in Finland! Amazing, picturesque, hypnotic, beyond beautiful. This sky can any photo turn into a really special one. And it also changes the way we see the life underneath it. Rich and volumetic clouds, that are seen everywhere over the forests and lakes up to the very horizon, are making this piece of Earth look like a picture of a talanted artist, who is deeply in love with our planet.

The view from an ordinary summer terrace here you will remember for ages, and a simple entertainments, that you’ve probably done thousands of times already, are evoluating to an amazing adventures. This summer we’ve spent almost a week under this unbelievable sky, trying to find out what are locals and tourists usually doing while having vacations on Saimaa lake. And before we will show you everything in our traditional video-guides, let me show you some backstage photos. I’m sure, you as well will be inspired by this sky!

  • Oktoberfest in Munich is right at it’s peak now: the first barrel was ceremonially opened and even already forgotten after a huge amount of taken beer, specially produced for the world’s largest festival; beermakers have made their traditional procession with the loud orchestras and beautiful horses through the city towards the Theresa’s meadow, where an event is held; and up to six millions tourists, who arrive in Munich every year at this dates, are happily watching all this, taking photos and drinking beer.

So Munich today is a center for everything crazily funny and interesting. And will remain like that till the 4th of October. But who was the first? Who who was the first to put on dirndl and loudly (without beer but with an amazing company) celebrate the beginning of the “fifth season in a year”, as locals call Oktoberfest? Ta-daaam, this person is right in front of you! And I’m going to show you everything:)

    90 years later: Skoda 110

    by Kseniia

In a year 1925 on a Laurin&Klement factory, that was going through a great connection with a Skoda concern at that moment, in Czech city of Mlada-Boleslav a new car was made. It appeared to be a true symbol of that period in a brand history, cause had two names on it: “Laurin&Klement” on a radiator enclosure and “Skoda” – a little higher. Isn’t it just a perfect moment to produce such car, when the world itself was in a middle of going from the new to the newest age of history?

We had a chance to get know it better during our trip to Czech with Skoda this summer. Old cars of the brand were waiting for us in a romantic Loucen castle.

Photo of the day: Gothenburg sunset

    by Kseniia

You know, what, friends? Looks like my world is never gonna be the same again! Because of two reasons. And the first one is this absolutely fabilous, magical sunset outside the Heaven 23 restaurant windows in Gothenburg (Sweden) earlier today. It painted all the old rooftops and interior details into an electro-orange color, turning them into one big fairy tail. People stared at it, took photos of it, were obviously amazed by it.

    And the second reason is…

Nature all around: Sahanlahti Resort on Saimaa lake

    by Kseniia

I just love how perfect are Finnish holidays in the way of their relaxation. Like nowhere else, you feel here like you owe nothing to others here. No need to rush through all the sights if you’re not in a mood for it, you can easily stay in bed till lunch or even spend all your vacation without leaving the hotel – and no one would ever blame you for that. And it’s not because of standarts of trying to be polite with tourists. It’s just in the nature of Finnish people. They know, how to enjoy every moment of life and appreciate what they have right now, without waiting for a better future or smth. You can forget about conventionalities and just deep into what you really like. And only because of that all the hotels and resorts we had a chance to visit this summer were organized the way it is the most comfortable for everyone to have the best rest ever without going far away.
