It’s fair to say this Autumn in NZ is like no other. Maybe because we had very little time to enjoy it, it seems so magical. But anyway, IT IS MAGICAL and so beautiful! We decided to have a short walk to our local park and take a couple of pics to share with you.
Autumn may be almost over on the calendar, but it’s actually in full swing out there. Golden leaves are falling from trees and covering the ground. Light is soft with lots of flares when taking pictures. It’s not too cold yet and there is still plenty of sunlight. I love this time of the year!
It’s still weird for me to see proper Autumn to come around May as in Russia this happens usually around late September – early October. And it’s still confusing as hell to realise my birthday (which is Sep 7) is now not in Autumn but actually in Spring. But it’s getting easier every year, I’m getting used to it.
Around this time last year we were spending a weekend in Cambridge. Gosh that little town was made to look great in Autumn! Loved that trip! Here is our post with ideas on what to see in Cambridge. Also while there, visit other amazing spots around Waikato. We have a playlist on YouTube with several videos on how to spend quality time there.
